I got a bill today with over due fee; although, i payed it on time. The company told me that although the mail is missing, I did have to pay so I did. But, what a strange thing is that three other bill with checks that I sent THAT same day did NOT receive it too.

I am little bit scared because of the whole identity theft going on (i live in arizona so i am MORe scared). I canceled the checks with the bank already. What do you think I should do next? i know i have to monitor my bills so there are no wierd spending going on.

Here are the questions:
Should i complain this to the post office?
What can the theives do with cancelled checks?
What other things do you recommend me to do?

Thank you very much for all of your help.

Roselyn

I got a flier in the mail from a company called LIfeLock, it looks like a good idea but has anyone ever used it? Is it worth what you pay for it? Or are there better alternatives?

what I mean is, why do more people feel the need to dig through your trash for things with your personal information, steal your mail, etc?

checking account and took money and made a fake driver’s license with my info and her picture. She also had business cards printed. That’s just what the cops found, but I am afraid she may have done more. What, if anything, should I be ready for?

I had ID theft in 2006 so my credit is on lock-down. Because the Note is on my credit, now I cannot get online credit reviews but have to do them through the mail, which is fine, but i don’t know how to get the SCORE.
Any ideas?

I posted my contact details at alibaba.com. Now I’m getting all sorts of mail and fax messages from different countries confirming different kinds of import/export transactions that I didn’t make. I’m afraid they could be using my identity to enter into illegal or scam transactions. Who can I run to for help?

I’ve asked alibaba.com to remove my name from their website, but they do nothing, not even a reply.

My pet goldfish Lou, his wife and their triplets pierced their noses.
Then they got gold nose rings with their names and SSN numbers engraved. Then a family of minnows stole this information! They now go under the name of Goldfish, and he NEVER ordered that credit card which arrived in mail this morning!

One tenant disappear without paying and living behind some belongings. A new tenant uses the identity of the past tenant to get cable service.
The new tenant get evicted and on the mail, is a bill for the first tenant of 742.00 (including the value of cable box 500.00) The second tenant used and pay the bills on the first tenants name, except in the last few months. I believe the first tenant does not know that. Can I make a police report on that or I will get in trouble since the house is mine and I just find out it now?
